About Bacteriostatic Water 0.9% 30ML
Sterile, non-pyrogenic water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative, supplied in a 30ML multi-dose vial. Used as the diluent for reconstituting lyophilized research compounds. The benzyl alcohol preservative allows a reconstituted vial to be drawn from repeatedly over a multi-week study window without the sterility loss that plain sterile water invites. Plain sterile water for injection has no preservative and is single-use only. Store at controlled room temperature. Do not use if the seal is compromised or the solution is discolored or contains particulate matter. For laboratory and research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
